Prestige Custom Homes has been building dream homes for its clients since 1995. Karl Bach, owner of the company, is a second-generation builder and contractor. The company’s roots go back to where Jan Bach, the company’s founder, first ventured into the home renovation and construction industry more than 30 years ago.
Karl joined his father during his student years by helping out on weekends and in the long summer holidays. Karl took on numerous roles and responsibilities and has since built up an unparalleled knowledge of the industry. Together, they have over 40 years of combined building experience. Even though Jan has stepped away from the day to day operations of the company, he still plays an important role in client relations and dealing with investment properties.
Katherine, Karl’s wife, joined the team after many years of working behind the scenes. She is now an integral part of the business as well. Katherine works with client selections, designs all in house custom cabinetry and helps with the overall interior design of all projects.

Prestige Custom Homes follows and supports the guidelines of the Tarion Warranty Corporation, a legally supported body who administers or represents the Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act, in accordance with provincial law. By law, every builder in Ontario must be registered with Tarion. Every new home must be enrolled before construction begins. The warranty protects your investment.
